It discusses the difference between the kinetic product and thermodynamic product and how to identify them whenever you have 2 or 4 different products by analyzing the carbocation intermediate and the relative stability of the alkene product. The kinetic product is the major product under low temperature conditons and the thermodynamic product is the major product under high temperature conditions.
