This video covers the vocabulary used in electrolysis, how the process works, and how to work out what the products will be when doing electrolysis of ionic compounds when molten, and when in solution. Half-equations are also covered. Finally we look at the chloralkali industry as a specific example of use of electrolysis in industry.
