Taiwan’s experiences in promoting third generation (3G) wireless Internet access service are interest to international practitioners and researchers. This study applies the logistic, Gompertz, and external influence econometric models to explore diffusion patterns of 3G wireless Internet service adoption in Taiwan, one of the leading countries in the mobile telephone context.
